Herbs

There is nothing quite so uplifting as growing herbs, from seeing a seed that you have planted sprout and push itself up through the soil, reaching for the light, to breathing in the scent of a herb that you have grown knowing that it is beneficial to you in so many ways.

I’d like to show you how to grow your herbs and describe their uses and benefits to you.

Essential Oils

Riverglen Herbs uses Essential Oils  to combine with a natural base to rejuvenate, protect, and restore your skin and hair. This includes Moisturiser, Shower Balm, Shampoo and Conditioner

Some exciting products have now been added to the product range.
First of all a collection of rejuvenating oils.
To decide what blends of essential oils worked, several  combinations were made up in 50 ml bottles with different base oils and stored in a dark cupboard for over twelve months.
At the end of that time they were tested, a few adjustments made, then stored again and  four rejuvenating oils with three choices of base oils have been produced.
The aim is to produce oils that are primarily for self-massage. Although it’s nice to have someone massage you it’s not always possible and when you think about it you can self-massage most areas of your body, hands, feet, arms, legs, abdomen, shoulders and some parts of the upper and lower back, avoiding straining of course!
The aim is to relax!
